Assamese Mulberry Chador is a traditional garment worn by women in Assam, India. It is made from mulberry silk, a fine and high-quality silk known for its natural shine and durability. The Chador is a shawl-like upper garment worn over a skirt-like lower garment called “mekhela”.

Care Instruction:

Hand wash separately in cold water while washing for the first time.
Do not soak the cloth for too long.
Use a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or scrub.
Do not wring the material vigorously; instead, hang it and allow the excess water to drain off.
